This season, the Camden Riversharks and AmeriHealth New Jersey have partnered together to form a new School Assembly Program called "Line Drives for Healthy Lives." The two organizations will visit elementary schools in the greater South Jersey and Philadelphia areas to initiate the significant awareness of child health and wellness. Through this unique assembly program, students will learn key facts in keeping a healthier lifestyle and staying active. Riversharks staff members along with the Riversharks mascot, Finley will anchor the program through a fun and interactive presentation fit for the entire school.
The Camden Riversharks first school assembly program visit was to Fountain Woods Elementary in Burlington, New Jersey, on Wednesday, March 30th. It was a success with both the students and teachers!
"The Riversharks have always believed in advocating for a healthier lifestyle," said General Manager, Adam Lorber. "Getting students involved in becoming more health conscious can help shape their future and those around them. By having this new assembly program, the Riversharks and Amerihealth are able to directly speak to the students with a fun atmosphere."
The "Line Drives for Healthy Lives" assembly program will be available for all schools throughout the entire school year. For more information about this new educational program or to secure a date for your student, please call 1-866-SHARKS-9.
