RIVERSHARKS ANNOUNCE 2008 PROMOTIONS, THEME NIGHTS

CAMDEN, NJ - The Camden Riversharks, South Jersey’s Home Team, are proud to announce some of the promotions and theme nights for the 2008 season. This season, the team will try a lot of new ideas that have never been done in Camden or any of the other parks in the area.
On Opening Weekend, the giveaways begin. Friday, April 25, the Riversharks open the season with rally towels for the first 1,000 fans sponsored by Campbell’s and Corporate Incentive Solutions. On Saturday and Sunday, Western Pest Services sponsors magnetic schedule nights. Opening Night will also mark the first of seventeen fireworks nights. The show will begin immediately following the night’s game. Saturdays will once again give kids the chance to run the bases, and Sundays are Family Fun Days with autograph sessions and ice cream sundaes on the warning track after games.
This year, the Riversharks will host karaoke on Mondays. Each week brings a new theme, beginning with Monday, April 28, with 80’s Karaoke. Future themes include Salute to Boy Bands, One Hit Wonders, Salute to Pop Princesses and Childhood Favorites. Wednesdays are Wild Card Wednesdays. The Riversharks will host different whacky themes, including Fear Factor Night, Salute to Indoor Plumbing, Hannah Montana Appreciation Day and the Country Hoedown.Every Tuesday, the team will host BINGO presented by Amtrak. On Thurs., May 1, the team kicks off Yuengs and Wings Thursdays with a wing eating contest. Specials on Yuengling and buffalo wings will continue throughout the season on Thursdays.
