The Riversharks announced Tuesday that they signed three players to the 2013 roster. Valentino Pascucci, Ruddy Yan and Raul Padron will all join the Riversharks this season.

“The inclusion of Pascucci, Yan and Padron on our roster for 2013 is as good of a start as we could have hoped for as we build our team for this season,” said Adam Lorber, General Manager of the Camden Riversharks. “Their veteran presence and experience will be useful tools in mentoring some of the younger members on our team.”

Pascucci, a 1999 draft pick by the Montreal Expos, had a brief stint with the Camden Riversharks in 2010 and was a midseason signing by the New York Mets. In 2011, Pascucci went 3-for-11 with a home run in a September call-up from AAA-affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons.

Yan, who played with the Riversharks in 2011, enters the 13th season of his career after spending much of his career within the minor league-affiliates of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago White Sox and the Texas Rangers.

Padron, a 10-year veteran returns to the Riversharks after playing in Camden intermittently since 2010.

The Camden Riversharks open their season at Lancaster against the Barnstormers on April 18.
