At long last, the Campbell's Kids have returned from their extensive rehabillitation at an undisclosed location after being placed on the injured reserve in late May. The Riversharks are ecstatic about the return of the Campbell's Kids to the front of Campbell's Field.

"It wasn't the same coming in to work everyday without the Campbell's Kids to greet me" said Lisa Verish, Marketing Coordinator for the 'Sharks. "It was especially strange after each game seeing the fans walk past the empty pedastal. I'm so glad they're back"

The Campbell's Kids were sent to the Injured Reserve after sustaining a major arm injury. Jason Kopec, the team trainer, was the one to place them on the deactivated list.

"After the arm injury, I didn't want to take any chances. The Campbell's Kids are too important to the team to risk further injury. We hoped to have them back off the DL before the All Star Break, but we needed more time. I'm glad they're back where they belong and fully back to health."

Come see the Campbell's Kids fully restored to health in front of Campbell's Field at 401 North Delaware Avenue, Camden, NJ 08102. The Campbells Kids are looking forward to seeing all their fans and friends at the ballpark. They will be available for pictures and are planning to take as many pictures as possible with fans to make up for their time away.

The Riversharks return to Campbell's Field on August 6th for a six game homestand including Star Wars Night, MS Awareness Day, Tribute to Shark Week, Medical Professionals Night, and Philadelphia Night.
