Waste Management Wins Softball Tournament

On Sunday, September 30th, the Camden Riversharks hosted the Camden Waterfront Softball Tournament at Campbell’s Field. Four teams participated in the event, with proceeds benefitting the STG ’12 Foundation (Every Day is a Gift). These teams consisted of Waste Management, Cooper’s Ferry, the Adventure Aquarium and TD Bank.

Each team played each other one time in a Round-Robin Format in the first round of games. Once that round concluded the teams where reseated for a one round playoff game to determine the Champion of the Waterfront Softball tournament.

Waste Management squared off against the Adventure Aquarium in the championship game resulting in Waste Management winning the 2012 Camden Waterfront Tournament.

Congratulations to Waste Management and thank you to all the teams who participated.
